Log in and set up
Before you can take calls, you need to sign in and make sure your camera and microphone are working. This page walks you through every step.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- Your work email address
- Your password (sent by your manager or IT team when your account was created)
- Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (recommended)
- A headset or speakers and microphone
- Camera (built-in or external webcam)
Sign in
Section titled “Sign in”- Open your browser and go to your company’s Univerx login URL.
(If you do not know the URL, ask your manager.) - On the Sign in to your account page, enter your Email address and Password.
- If you want to stay logged in, check Remember me.
- Click Sign in.
You are taken directly to the Dashboard after a successful login.
Reset your password
Section titled “Reset your password”If you have forgotten your password:
- On the login page, click Forgot password?
- Enter your work email address and submit the form.
- Check your email inbox for a password reset link.
- Click the link in the email and enter a new password.
- Return to the login page and sign in with your new password.
Allow camera and microphone access
Section titled “Allow camera and microphone access”The first time you join a video call, your browser asks for permission to use your camera and microphone. You must allow both for calls to work.
In Google Chrome:
- When the browser prompt appears, click Allow.
- If you accidentally clicked Block, click the camera icon in the address bar (top right of the browser window) and change the setting to Allow, then refresh the page.
In Microsoft Edge:
- Click Allow when prompted.
- If blocked, click the lock icon in the address bar and set both Camera and Microphone to Allow.
Set up multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Section titled “Set up multi-factor authentication (MFA)”Your organisation may require multi-factor authentication (MFA). If it does, you will be asked for a verification code after entering your password.
- Install an authenticator app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
- During setup, scan the QR code shown on screen with your authenticator app.
- Enter the 6-digit code shown in the app.
- From then on, enter a new code from the app each time you log in.
Check your devices
Section titled “Check your devices”To verify your camera and microphone are working before you take a call:
- Join any active call or use your browser’s built-in camera/mic test:
- In Chrome: go to

- In Chrome: go to
- When on a call, you will see your own video feed if your camera is on.
- Speak into your microphone — the other participant should hear you.
Sign out
Section titled “Sign out”When your shift ends:
- Click your name or profile icon in the left sidebar navigation.
- Click Sign out.
You are returned to the login page. Your session is closed and no calls will reach you while you are signed out.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”Once you are logged in and your devices are confirmed, head to the Dashboard to see your customer queue and start taking calls.
