View event logs
The Event logs section gives you a complete audit trail of everything that happens in your UniverX organization. You can see who made changes, what they changed, and when — across all areas of the admin console.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- You need the Admin or Owner role.
- Go to Admin console → Event logs.
Understanding the event log
Section titled “Understanding the event log”The event log table shows one row per event. Each row contains:

| Actor | The user or system that performed the action |
| Action | What was done (e.g. “Member invited”, “Queue created”) |
| Category | The area of the system affected |
| Severity | How significant the event is |
| Target | The entity that was affected (e.g. a specific member or queue) |
| Details | Additional information about the event |
Event categories
Section titled “Event categories”Events are grouped by category to help you filter and review specific areas:

Severity levels
Section titled “Severity levels”| Severity | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Info | Routine activity with no risk |
| Warning | An action that may need attention |
| Critical | A significant change that could affect access or security |
Filter the event log
Section titled “Filter the event log”Use the filters at the top of the page to narrow down the events you see:
- Go to Admin console → Event logs.
- Use the Search events… field to search by actor name, action, or target.
- Use the category and severity dropdowns to filter by specific types.
- Use the date range picker to narrow results to a specific period.
- Click Clear filters to reset all filters and see the full log.
Investigate a specific event
Section titled “Investigate a specific event”- Find the event in the list using search or filters.
- Click the event row or the Details column to see more information, including:
- The full action description
- Before and after values (where available)
- The actor’s IP address or session information (where available)
Common uses for the event log
Section titled “Common uses for the event log”Checking who invited a new member: Filter by category Members and search for the member’s name. Look for the “Member invited” action.
Reviewing recent billing changes: Filter by category Billing to see payment method additions, subscription changes, and invoice events.
Investigating unauthorized changes: Filter by Critical severity and review the actor and timestamp for any unexpected changes.
Auditing queue configuration: Filter by category Queues to see all changes made to queue settings over time.
Pagination
Section titled “Pagination”The event log can contain a large number of entries. Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the table to navigate:
- Rows per page — choose how many entries to show at once
- Page navigation — move to the next or previous page
- The footer shows the current range, e.g. “Showing 1 to 25 of 1,240 events”
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”No events are showing. Check whether any filters are applied. Click Clear filters to reset. If the log is still empty, there may genuinely be no recorded activity yet.
I cannot find a specific event. Try broadening your search. Remove date filters and search only by actor or category. Events are retained for the duration of your subscription.
An action was performed but it does not appear in the log. Some system-level actions may appear with a short delay. Refresh the page. If the event is missing, contact UniverX support.
